Where South Asia
meets modern Houston.
Freshly brewed karak chai, all-day desi breakfast, street food and sweets — plus a market to come. Warm, tactile, and unmistakably Kinara.

A little corner of South Asia in the heart of Houston.
Kinara means 'shore' — a place to arrive, gather, and stay a while. We're bringing the ritual of chai and the warmth of a South Asian table to a modern, market-style cafe on O'Meara Drive.
Chai, done right
Karak brewed to order with a house blend of cardamom, clove and ginger.
Warm minimalism
Clay, brass and cardamom-sage — a tactile space made for lingering.
For the neighborhood
A gathering place for south Houston, built on South Asian hospitality.
From the first pour to the last bite.
A taste of what's brewing. The full menu spans chai, breakfast, wraps, biryani, chaat and sweets.
A market, taking shape.
Beyond the cafe, we're planning a neighborhood market — fresh produce, hard-to-find pantry staples, a wall of whole spices, and grab-and-go for busy Houston days. A later chapter in the Kinara story.
